travel club field hockey

My my My my

We are proud to announce the addition of Chris Bourassa to the Potomac Field Hockey family and to our board.  Chris joined us as of Jun 1st, 2019 and is serving as President of the board.  Chris owns Play To Win Sports and has been managing Evergreen Sportsplex for several years.  Evergreen is the outdoor home for our travel club.  Chris brings years of sports management experience to our board.  We're both excited and fortunate to have him with us.

While many things will remain the same inlcuding our terrific coaching staff, many of whom are Loudoun County High School Varsity Coaches along with our commitment to player development and strong family environment, there are also some changes that we are excited to announce.

First, we have changed our travel club name to Hammers Field Hockey as part of our alignment with the other clubs that Chris manages at Evergreen including Hammers Lacross and Hammers Football.

Second, as previously announced, Ashley Smeltzer-Kraft, head field hockey coach at Shenandoah University & 2 time ODAC Coach of year, is now our Hammers Travel Commissioner.

Third, we've consolidated our website to have both our rec league players through Potomac Field Hockey and our travel and evolution players through Hammers Field Hockey all on one website.  Please check out our redesigned website at
